Meghna Naidu was born on September 19, 1980 in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India. She rose to stardom with a video titled Kaliyon Ka Chaman, and instantly became popular as an item girl in Bollywood. She is also known as sex symbol for her sizzling, sensual roles and revealing costumes she wear.
Career in Movies
Before appearing in Bollywood, she has made her debut role in Tamil film, but her Bollywood debut was Hawas, directed by Karan Razda during the year 2004. In this movie, she played the role of a wife who is tormented by the lack of passion in her married life and therefore goes into an extra marital relationship.
She was hten offered the role in Husn, a film directed by Ajeet Sinha and produced by Faraha Sultan Ahmed. IN this movie, she playes the role of a wife of an aged man, played by Gulshan Grover and has shady role who becomes rich overnight decepting people.
She is mostly seen in sizzling item numbers in Bollywood movies and she is the most favored south Indian actress. Her other item number is Nasha Le Le Tu Dil in AK 47 directed by Raam Shetty. Yin this number, this voluptuous diva has donned up a dusky Arabic look while rest of the dancers sport an Egyptian look. The song is sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and the music is composed by Sajid Wajid.
Hawas director Karan Razdan was impressed by her roles and signed her for his new film Eight (2006) where she was seen opposite to newcomer Raj Tara. The movie also featured Padmini Kolhapure and Gulshan Grover.
